The meaning behind this design is that everything that you do in life is carried with you where ever you go, etched on your palms. What do you see when you look down at your hands?
Lizard Guts. The story of a little girl who loved lizards. She was intrigued by their marbling yellow eyes, green sheen, reef blue tails, and always desired a closer look. One fall day, she decided she can catch one where they frequent. She sat there, so still, as if to gain trust from the land. Formed her hands into airtight trap and cupped the colorful lizards he squiggled up the weathered ceder fence.
The rim of her hand caught the lizards head as he tried for his freedom. In an excited attempt to keep him. She squeezed his insides out. His guts webbed her fingers and his shape was lost in her. She looked down in utter madness at what she had done. As it was not her intention to find it eternally tangled in her hands.
